Kamameshi at Tagoto
"
I had a decent Kamameshi, a traditional Japanese rice dish cooked in an iron pot, this evening. Kamameshi is usually soy sauce based, but the one I had today was salt based. That was really nice.
Although Asakusa is one of the most popular tourist destinations, it has some cool restaurant only known by the locals.
FYI:
Restaurant name: Tagoto (田毎)
Add: 3-27-3 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo

With classmates at GONPACHI
"
Hi there.
I’d been leading a boring life recently, working overtime, reading books, playing Final Fantasy XII and so on… But yesterday it was a fantastic night receiving Arun from Cambridge. Some Japanese alumni and I had a drink with him at a Japanese style pub, called Gonpachi. Actually this is where Koizumi invited Bush several years ago.
The only thing I was disappointed at was my English. It seems I am losing English. Now I have difficulty in finding words and making sentences when I speak. Sounds like I need to start watching Star Trek Voyager again.
It was the happiest night in a few weeks, anyway.
