The yearbook
"
When I got home late at night, well-drunk, I found an envelope from Cambridge. Yes, I knew what it would be. Should be the yearbook.
It is almost incredible that I stayed in Cambridge with the extraordinary classmates. I couldn’t believe it was just a few months ago.
Well, maybe I drank too much today, but this yearbook is going to be a treasure. The whole year is the treasure.
Iryna, who edited the book, did a great job. I’m really grateful.

My Primopuel has recently started saying “I want a scarf!”
Well, it’s getting cold and cold in Tokyo.
Winter is just around the corner.
OK, OK.
You’ve got it. Here you are.

Fugu
"
I had fugu with my Malaysian friend today. It seems it is called balloon fish or globefish in English. It tastes bland and goes with ponzu sauce.
This is definitely something you must try when you visit Japan.

I have just come back from an Onsen (hot spring) trip with MBA friends. It was fantastic to share nice time with the close friends. We had autumn leaves on the first day and snow on the second day. We were lucky to have two seasons within just one night trip.
More photos are here.

Cambridge MBA reunion in Tokyo
"
On 7th November, we had an MBA reunion in an izakaya, Japanese style pub, at Iidabashi Tokyo. Simon visited Tokyo for the MBA fair and some conferences and meetings, so we took this opportunity. Since I have just come back from Cambridge, it was the first time I joined this get-together, but this event seems annual. All the smiles in the picture vividly explain how wonderful the reunion was.

Primopuel
"
He’s so cute.
Primopuel is a talking toy mainly for middle-aged people. He comes to speak a lot of words by touching his head, shaking his hands, or holding him.
By the way, I was wondering why this kind of cute toy is so popular in Japan. Maybe because people are so tired and stressed or because it is a national affection to admire cute things?
In US, people tend to love grotesque toys by contrast.
