Good-bye Cambridge

"
None of my vocabulary can express what I feel not because my English is poor but because I have a mixture of feelings. Part of me misses Cambridge and another part is excited with the new start.

It is the last day in Cambridge and the end of the sweet memories. Now I know what MBA is about. It is not about assembly of individual subjects (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Strategy etc.). If it were, I could stay within in Japan and learn the essence of those subjects. It is however about a common language in the international business. It is about empirical study with the diversified student body. The Cambridge MBA, with its 90% international students, was an ideal place to do an MBA.

The end of my MBA is a start. I will finalise my job search within a week or two. I am excited to start a new career with what I have learned in Cambridge.

Yet again, for now let me think about the Cambridge MBA and my classmates.

This may be the last time we’re all together… but no matter what the future holds… no matter how far we travel a part of us– a very important part– will always remain here…in the Cambridge MBA.(Adopted from the final episode of Star Treck Deep Space Nine)

Islay trip

I’ve just come back from Islay, an ideal island off Scotland. What is the purpose of the trip? Of course, it’s whisky.

More photos are available from here.

Last days in Cambridge

I’ve booked a flight to Tokyo, departing on 28th August. I am stopping by Copenhagen for three days and then arriving at Tokyo on 1st September.

The life in Cambridge has been extraordinary… I’m going to miss a lot of things: the classmates, school staff, study and even the weather…

All good things must come to an end.
