I bought a NIKE driver today. I can hardly wait for the next round.
Golf is just like a life. It’s never ever easy, but it’s wonderful if you want to enjoy it.

I downloaded Radiohead’s latest album ‘In Rainbows’ a day before. As you may know, you can download it on the official website at the price you set. You can get it for nothing if you like. (Though 0.45 pence transaction fee is inevitable…) I think this is the greatest step to reform digital contents distribution. I feel rights-holders have been overprotected in this business. Consumers should receive more benefits.
Well, talking about the music, Radiohead is still Radiohead. It doesn’t cheer you up, but it’s extremely beautiful. I love this new album and paid 20 pounds as a mark of respect both for the quality and for this brave attempt.
Here it is.

It’s been a long long time since I last updated this blog. I guess some people think I have junked this blog, or others think there has been some trouble with me. But I am OK. It’s just been a busy since I changed jobs in Jun.
Any news?
Well… The new job is challenging and I enjoy it. I have been assigned to finance director of an IT solution company.
My wife is fine. She also changed jobs and now she’s working as a dispatched worker. More relaxing and more time to enjoy her life.
I am still enthusiastic about golf, but scores are still terrible…
Takashi has come back to Japan from UK and we had a small reunion with some MBAs.
I’ll keep you posted from now on.
Maybe…
If I can…

You look like a young executive or something, boy.

OK, it’s adjusted for your tail.

I had a decent Kamameshi, a traditional Japanese rice dish cooked in an iron pot, this evening. Kamameshi is usually soy sauce based, but the one I had today was salt based. That was really nice.
Although Asakusa is one of the most popular tourist destinations, it has some cool restaurant only known by the locals.
FYI:
Restaurant name: Tagoto (田毎)
Add: 3-27-3 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo

I have almost finished the school and ordered a club set. I am going to take a round lesson either on 21st or on 25th March, which is to be my first golf round.
Below are my orders. It’s a big investment…

Hi there.
I’d been leading a boring life recently, working overtime, reading books, playing Final Fantasy XII and so on… But yesterday it was a fantastic night receiving Arun from Cambridge. Some Japanese alumni and I had a drink with him at a Japanese style pub, called Gonpachi. Actually this is where Koizumi invited Bush several years ago.
The only thing I was disappointed at was my English. It seems I am losing English. Now I have difficulty in finding words and making sentences when I speak. Sounds like I need to start watching Star Trek Voyager again.
It was the happiest night in a few weeks, anyway.
FYI: Gonpachi website

Recently I read a lot of business books. Marketing, Accounting, Intellectual properties, CSR, BSC, Internet/web business etc. As a matter of fact, I have plenty of commuting time, 40-50 mins a day. The good thing is that I’ve got a feeling I have become intelligent and the bad thing is that the feeling will be an illusion as is the way with me.
Now I’m reading a good book about branding. Branding is one of the areas I haven’t understood well yet. It’s been elusive and hard to picture. But this book enlightens me and I think I got something.
Oh I’ve found another good thing about reading. You probably look good when you read a decent book on a train. You shouldn’t play video games, Nintendo DS sort of thing, or read a comic book in public if you are over 30…
